Live It to Give It!

Hi!
Thanks for taking the time to read what’s going on in my world. I’d love to hear from you so feel free to contribute on my blog page.
I’m having a very interesting day. Interesting is, in fact, not quite the word that I want to use, but I am trying to remain positive. haha Ever deal with someone that makes your skin crawl? Sure, you know what I am talking about. That lovely individual who has the uncanny ability to push your buttons faster than my eight year old plays his nintendo. Yes, that person. He makes my back ache and head hurt. My body is very clear about the fact, that I should never deal with this person. And, yet, he keeps reappearing. Over lunch today with my husband, Scott, (Thanks Scott!) I realized very clearly, that this individual is handing me an opportunity to practice what I preach. Should I continue down this business road with someone that makes me crazy, NO!
What would I advise a client to do? I would ask,
"So why are you hesitant to tell this person that you do not want to work with him?"
"Well, because I do not want to appear rude."
I would then ask, "Why?"
"Because he would get offended…"
"Why would that be so bad?"
"Because he would get angry…"
"And why would THAT be so bad?"
"He might say bad things about me,"
"So what?"
"hmmmmm"
And there you have it. One of the reasons that I love this work that I do so much, is that by teaching others, I learn myself. I’ve learned to ask WHY over and over until I find a limiting belief, or underlying fear that keeps me stuck in a situation that I do not want or like. When I tackle the false belief or fear, I am set free. Can you hear that sound? It’s my feet doing the Freedom Dance! LOL
The bottom line is, that there are very few things in this life that we HAVE to do. And we get to design the rest.
Be Well,
Susan
